Custom Gun engraving

Thinking about purchasing a gun for a close friend and getting it custom engraved (most likely wood stock ) not sure if I wanna do the receiver

any recommendations are appreciated

I think Griffin and Howe does that. Probably expensive there over someplace else

My wife does laser engraving. She's never done a rifle stock before though.

Would she be down to try on a wooden stock? I think I have an old one laying around if she wants to do a test run on one.
