CJ3a
I am guessing it nots the states fault due to that lack of maintenance. Just another happy little accident. I spent most of my money on hunting and fishing. The rest I just wasted.
electricstart
Bridge going over the Rockaway River I guess . That sucks . Alot of traffic in the morning and week ends.
Bucksnbows
I’m guessing this is the bridge over the Rockaway River just north of the route 15 and Berkshire Valley Road interchange? Greybeard
Glad I'm retired and don't have to find a way around that. Traffic has always been bad through Jefferson on 15. Can't imagine the mess on the side roads now. Even they were backed up before with people trying to skirt the backups at the lights. Wonder what happened to the 23 cent tax Christie put on a gallon of gas to maintain our roads. Only other highway is 23 and that's 2 lanes until you hit Passaic Co, with more traffic lights than there are miles down to 80. Have fun folks! electricstart

When Congress tried to ram the Tocks Island dam down our throats back in the 70s, they built route 15 to handle all the new traffic. Then the dam was scuttled and they stopped widening 15 in Sparta. It created massive sprawl throughout that area and traffic has been brutal at times of the day for many decades now. My first house was in Lake Shawnee in Jefferson right off 15. https://www.troutscapes.com/ https://nativefishcoalition.org/national-board
