Catbird chicks

Found a catbird nest in backyard. Kid thought it was neat to watch momma feed chicks. We call catbirds “SpongeBob” birds cuz they yell out “Gary” as their call. 
 

Btw…there is a video somewhere of an Asian lady eating baby chicks out of a nest which is gruesome but I can’t paste it.

I hate catbirds.  They raid my blueberries as they ripen.  Pecked holes in every red strawberry and tomato instead of just finishing off one.  Fearless raiders and will find a way under netting.  Had a nest of them in my hedges last year that I didn't see until I cut over the top of it.  Left some cover around it but it wasn't enough to hide it from a predator.  No remorse here.
