Shake Down Run...

Took Bugs out of school yesterday wether looked to good even though school ends next week lol.

Mom dad and a friend hit the ocean, we left Belmar at 0600 and took the 11 mile ride to the Rocks and Rattlesnake.

My old girl held her own after the new top end was put in, new valve cover had a crack in it witch led to what looked like a major oil leak but like blood a little goes a long way. This spraying of oil all over the coil led to some difficult starts but she always pulled through, just like the dog the boat is named after.

As for the boat Aquasport lived up to its nickname of Aguasplash or Aquasoak lol

After 11 miles heading north with a North wind we were soaked. Because of this pictures were limited but, Old Girl got us out and back safely.

End of the day we boated over 100 sea bass and only came home with 5 keepers, I really got to learn what the hard hitters are doing, all I can say out of every boat around us including party boats we were boating a lot more fish just not keep size.

Overall great day day with family and way better than the shit hole place that gives me the money to do days like that.

New old valve cover on oil cleaned up, waiting for the next chance to get out now.

Lol Bugs is not a ball of cotton, she ain't soft I whooped hers ass I took 4 keeper to her 1  and I let her know about all day lol

Nice. I took my boat out yesterday for Seabass and fishing was tough. We ended with 19 keepers but I ran a lot all over from 25' to 130' of water. And we never seen anyone catching a lot.
