mazzgolf Posted May 31, 2024 Posted May 31, 2024 Can folks point me to some public boat ramps on Shrewsbury Bay or the Navesink that you'd recommend? Places where there's a good ramp and good parking and in a safe area where you don't have to worry about getting your tires slashed lol. Me and some friends of mine are thinking THIS is the year we might tow the boat up there to spend a day fluke fishing.

Gunsmoke Posted May 31, 2024 Posted May 31, 2024 Be careful when you get to Rumson it's a shady area where pirates may stage an attack. All kidding aside I went to a concert in Red Bank in Feb with my wife and got out real late due to sticking around for autographs and meeting Lou Gramm and thought we were going to get jumped.
Tuck Posted May 31, 2024 Posted May 31, 2024 Check out swimming river park. I think it is all redone and open now. Puts you just in the other side of red bank bridge. Not sure how big boat is but you may need high tide to launch

Only thing I see online is a yearly fee of 150. I don't see an option for a daily fee. https://secure.rec1.com/NJ/rumson-newjersey/catalog/index/b3eeb3b713ea271faab9ded529d6eeb0?filter=c2VhcmNoPWJvYXQlMjByYW1w

Used to keep my boat on the trailer on property that the skipper shop on 1st avenue looks like they're closed maybe call and find out if it's still available to store your boat “In a civilized and cultivated country, wild animals only continue to exist at all when preserved by sportsmen.” -Theodore Roosevelt
