Success On Morning # 38 + Last Day Of The NY Spring Turkey Season

    May 31st 2024-- FINALLY!

   38 Total Days Turkey Hunting between NY +NJ.

  Had my Albert Paul Box with me and gave out a good 8 Assembly Yelps  after 20 minutes of climbing up a Ridge.

  Saw shortly after a good 5 Jakes checking out my face at 50 yards. They dispersed  and 1 Stayed put. This one,I Shot.TSS is no Joke.

 A 14lb Jake. Very happy with him+ Turkey # 129. 

  I thought,I was going to get Skunked this Spring. Finally ,I had some Luck.

 Old Phone was able to take a Short video that,I uploaded to Facebook. No pictures though. Cynthia  was able to upload a Picture of my Jake to nywoodsandwaters at page 50 of 2024 Turkey Edition if anyone is interested  in seeing this Last Day Jake. I am Blackbeltbill over there.

he came down hill through some mt Laural

 

i then met my buddy  at 655.  He hunted till 1135.  We had 2 other Tom’s going in different areas.    It got windy and I could not figure out where one was.   The other was on someone’s cut grass lawn.     He answered us from 300 away.  I said darn he sounds close to that house.  We go up the road and he is fanned out in the driveway    Lol.  Great end to a season.   Nj was a nightmare.   Ny the last 9 days were filled with a lot of action
