mazzgolf Posted May 30, 2024 Posted May 30, 2024 Wow - read that - especially the final paragraph. Unanimous. And notice who authored this and the other concurring opinions - Justices Sotomayor and Jackson !!! LOL ... somehow, the liberals running New York State managed to get both conservatives and liberals, both the NRA and the ACLU, to oppose them. That's a pretty impressive achievement. Nice job, New York! Kayak Ken and hostak126 2
hostak126 Posted May 30, 2024 Author Posted May 30, 2024 I'd want to say it's due to the nature and stance of it being a First Amendment violation. Better for the ACLU to back the NRA as they can use it in the future if needed. Not trusting the government doesn't make you a conspiracy theorist, it makes you a history buff
