Apparently in California, removing the claws from a dead bear is far worse than murdering another human being.  Seriously, why is this a big deal?  I realize it's a misdemeanor crime in that state, but it's not a capital crime we're talking about.

I've told my kid many times if there is a god it chose me to be born before this bullshit, because if I was of her age 15.5 I would take a shit in the middle of the hallway and claim to be an unhousebroken dog.
