A miss but rebounded with a kill!

I went out this morning trying to accomplish harvesting a longbeard with my Black Widow bow. Came up short with a miss,😥 So, I ran home and switched my recurve for my mossberg. I was blessed to end up calling in this beautiful gobbler into a mere 18 yards ! I put a good shot on him, and it was over, I never want it to be over. But I was also super excited to rebound after missing and being able to fill this tag. Big shout out to my little friend, my jake decoy, who helped keep the gobblers attention while I put the gun on him.  He was a heavy bird sporting a nice rope and daggers. Best of luck to everyone who are still chasing the thunder chickens 👍🦃🇺🇸
