Seems like your hearing a ton of birds

so you have that part down.

has to be something in your calling they aren’t liking or you would be shooting some.

I would video a sequence and look at it when you get home

could be you changed your normal cadence etc

i know if  im not getting birds coming in its usually because I start calling in too quick a cadence especially with my box call

Why don’t you ask Gobblergetter for some advice. He is definitely the expert turkey hunter on this site.  The only time he doesn’t kill a turkey, is when they are not around.  If I recall, he even had some instructional videos out years ago that you may find helpful.

This happens every year on Public. I always take my Birds late in the Season. A Tremendous  number of Hens in my area is the main reason. My calling is good.I have a good 8 or so Turkey Educational  Videos up.

I always take my Turkeys late in the Season. Up here in Orange County,NY- There is a very High Hen Population.  I have about 8 or so Turkey Educational videos up myself. Up to 128 killed on Public Ground.  Having a Blast out here. You out?

Maybe you should still reach out to Gobblergetter and ask for some guidance or get a copy of his instructional videos.  He was even featured in a real hunting show a few years ago.  He can probably straighten out whatever issues your having not calling in one of those many birds you are hearing every morning.

Not saying your calling isn’t good

BUT the turkeys are

most hens are sitting , so if birds are responding coming in they aren’t liking what they are hearing .

sometimes if we change something and keep hearing it . It sounds good

but video and play it back you might go WTF

amount of birds your hearing daily something should be running in

I don't rely on 1 call. Often by changing calls birds will respond. Different days, different tone is all that's needed.

I've also gotten toms n hens going by arguing with myself like 2 hens with a mouth call and a slate at the same time
