Favorite, simple white fish recipe

My buddy went fishing in Cape Cod and brought back fresh haddock. I cooked it tonight w my favorite white fish recipe. My roommate in college was Vietnamese and showed me this....HIGHLY recommend trying, as it is fantastic and is great on: striper, sea bass, fluke, monkfish, tog, cod, haddock, halibut, & trout too.

Make a tinfoil "boat," put fillet in. Sea salt the fillet, cover w scallions & FRESH peeled slivers of ginger, a squeeze of lemon, a dash of low sodium soy sauce, & a super light drizzle of olive oil or very slight dash of butter, & a splash of water.

Put on grill until fish is flaky....you will love it. Promise.

I do similar. I cube the meat. Then when done I put over jasmine rice.

Or

I brush it with a dill salad dressing.  Some coarse fresh ground pepper.

You forgot the part where you have to buy the fish first Nick.

That fresh haddock is one of my top three fin fish to eat but it has to be fresh. I try not to over spice it I’m looking for the fresh taste of the ocean my other to favorites are tile fish and halibut

Tilefish is like eating a fillet of scallops . Def top 2 fish

All of the rockfish species from Alaska  Def top 2.

halibut is good , but I consider that in the same as fluke (no real flavor other than its cooking method .

Def like sea bass better than fluke and halibut
