I've painted plugs before haven't in awhile I just go to fishing flea markets and go thru the junk and salvage whatever I can use.i add new split rings hooks and teasers I will hit up the surface with fine steel wool.i don't think color really matters yellow white or green during the day and night throw in black but I'm a firm believer rattles help at night with a black plug obviously this is a wooden plug and doesn't have rattles.ill drill holes in redfins and load them with birdshot that helps alot Edited February 18, 2016 by smoking gun
