Somerset Fly Fishing Show this weekend

Friday through Sunday is the annual Somerset Fly Show. Reportedly it is the largest of its kind in the world. My firm, Urbani Fisheries, LLC will have a booth this year. So if you attend, please be sure to stop by and introduce yourself and say hello. I'll be the one in the ankle cast. The ugly one is

my partner. And my daughter will be helping on the weekend. Hope to see a few of you there.

I went to that show the year before last and got terribly sick right after. I missed a full week of work. The year before the same thing happened to a friend of mine.

I think that place has legionnaire's disease in the HVAC system or something. I will never go there again.

 

On the other hand it is a great show with good deals on flies and equipment and some really good outfitters. Also there are not many irrelevant vendors peddling non fishing related stuff.

You've got three full days of the show.  Plenty of time to take the little lady out for sushi on one of those nights....
