Well I know a bunch of you including myself received gift cards. I was out there last week and the shelves are stocked well with .22LR, all powders including Pistol Powder, Primers, Bullets, just about anything you could want. Lots of after Xmas sales bins still out. The only thing I couldn't find was my Hornady V Max 33g .22Mag

No rumor, true.  Not sure what it means yet for both stores, but it is going through from what I know.

I was told by a Cabelas cashier that it is total BS.

The only news I could find on it dates back to November and it lists it as only a rumor.  One of the two companies has an investor who owns 11% of the company and probably wants to get a quick payout through something like a merger.  So the two companies are exploring the possibility, but nothing more than that has been mentioned.  Doesn't mean it isn't going to happen, but I have my doubts.
