It's pretty cold at the Iowa DNR trout hatchery

If you're a trout in Iowa, stay IN the water

It was -22 degrees at the Decorah hatchery when this trout jumped and stuck to the aluminum baffle on the wall of the raceway this week.

For my friends from ND our NJ winters are like t-shirt weather to them lol

I've only been out there in November and can't even imagine the peak winter windchills. It is always blowing like 20-30+ out there.
