Matty Posted February 7, 2013 Posted February 7, 2013 good luck. good equipment definitely helps your odds. if it's just snow, you'll be fine, should be good. but if it's windy, it'll be tough. you'll have to turn that sucker up so they can hear you. “I have always tempered my killing with respect for the game pursued. I see the animal not only as a target, but as a living creature with more freedom than I will ever have. I take that life if I can, with regret as well as joy, and with the sure knowledge that nature’s way of fang and claw and starvation are a far crueler fate than I bestow.” – Fred Bear

Matty Posted February 7, 2013 Posted February 7, 2013 yeah and pretty active usually. and they are probably out in the wind too, but it's a lot tougher to call them in. you'd be surprised at how much the wind can cut down on how far a call can be heard. “I have always tempered my killing with respect for the game pursued.
