Good luck today !   Anyone else out trying to fill this tag? 

I didn't get the permit for the zone up on the mountain so that's where I'm heading.  No expectations, just going to beat myself up one more time on the rocks.  Maybe it will be a little cooler up there.  This hot weather has taken all the enthusiasm that's left out of me.

Mix it up. Don't  go to the same place every day. Same way I made it to retirement. Always going to a different place and doing different tasks.

gotta keep reminding yourself it can all change with one turn of the head....i was all discouraged by the warm weather & lack of movement yesterday. i saw 1 button buck all morning until 10am yesterday & then saw 3 shooters & a bear & had 1 down by 10:20

Out in 7 had them walking around in the dark, then 1st lite for walked through 10 minutes later I hear a few little grunts and small buck running like he stole something.

Chased her into the woods it sounded like a stampede till they got out of range

I walked for a good hour before finding some scrapes to sit by. Just sitting againsr a log. No cover around. Son is up the rd farther and grunted in an 8pt. It didn't  come all the way in.

One 8pt buck tag already filled  haven't shown him yet,  watched for a while then got text wife's garage door spring broke hopefully get out to shop get one fix and be back out in pm

Gonna scout q few pieces on public land. Hoping the weather helps not bother any hunters.

Got settled in a little bit ago in Pequest WMA. Good wind. Warm temps. But lots of acorns. Fingers crossed.

New torsion spring in door works, just got in tree acorns and leaves falling so fast sounds like it's raining.
