Did something last night I do about once or twice a year. I had dinner at the Walpack Inn, where they "feed the deer and people too". I was going to ask for  a refund because no deer came to eat... Long trail of corn out there - sat from 6:20 to 8:20 and not a hair!   I have never gone there and not seen over a dozen deer.

That's it - it's official, we (and predators, and mother nature) have severely damaged the herd to the point of dangerously low levels.

This is just another cry for the state to make draconian cuts in the allowable deer harvest.

Nothing spooks deer more than my stank…

Of course it's about permit sales. F&W was taken out of the state budget and are funded entirely by license and permit sales. If they don't have enough money, they cease to exist.

Wow that's crazy,  we were gonna go eat there,  now I'm sad.    :pout:

The entire Walpack area herd is decimated. Since the start of fall bow, I've seen about 15 deer. I used to see them all the time on the campground too, and only saw a few this entire year.
