Here we go again.  Good luck to everyone today! 

Just doing some real slow stillhunting this morning.  I'm getting better at going real slow.  Haven't been down in this spot yet this year.  Was a good place at one time for rutting activity, and is still a hot spot to see bears.

Came across 2 fresh scrapes already. Heading back farther to where there used to be a lot of them. Wind in my favor so far

Out in 007 woods are dead quite and my feet are freezing, hopefully a big girl comes by soon to warm me up

Nothings going to help me. 

I'm back farther than I  want to drag one out. Lot of new scrapes in places that haven't been scraped in years.  Good spots from last year are worked a little but not like they used to be, yet.  Still have a ton of ground to cover. Sitting for a bit first. Bear trails are beaten down

Thanks! Greatly appreciate the offer.  But are you sure?  It probably won't be a big rack

Had a young buck running along side the road in front of the truck on the way home.  Didn't want to roll the truck down the bank so I gave it a pass.  That's all I saw.

There are plenty of places in there to hide using one.  I'd rather not carry it and sit on a log,rock or ground.  One advantage of a crossbow is being able to get down low to the ground.  I'd also fall asleep too easily in a comfy chair

If me and you are dragging - smaller the better!
