Archer Cable Pulls/ Upper Back Strengthiner.

   I have been using Cables off and on since early in 1978. They were part of my routine  for the WBBG Teenage Mr. America in 1978.

  The Archer excercise using 5 High tension Springs of 20lbs of resistance  each or 100lbs is done with the forward handle in my left hand down at a 45 degree angle with left foot forward. I pull back 2+ inches is all for 25 to 30 reps. Sometimes 40 or more with the 100lbs resistance. 

  Then after the Orthodox Position, I switch to Southpaw. Right foot forward and right arm downward at 45 degrees and start pulling.

  This position  also duplicates a Grappling situation. 

No chance of losing your grip in this exercise pulling back just 2+ inches. In fact,I never have. 

  The best exercise,I have found for the Rear Delts especially . Still wearing a 2EL Shirt. 

  This exercise  did help me in placing 5th in the 1980 Mr. Orange County Contest.

Just turned 64 in September.  My Sister snapped a picture of me this past late June. Still wearing a 2EL shirt and Arms still at 18"s. Pic below. I do take - Test X180 Boost  available  at Walmart and LPJR can buy them there.  

   All of us at Bollenbach's  Gym trained Heavy.  I was there for Decades. Right to the Gym 3 days a week after busting my butt in a warehouse. Never took Steroids. My best Life Decision.
