Best Wind App

Whats everyones go to app for wind? I have been using the wind indicator on Onx but it seems more wrong than right. I also use the windfinder app which is not totally accurate?

i use onX but definitely right about it being wrong i’ve had that same problem with all apps

The hunt zone feature on huntstand seems to be accurate for me.. but I still drop milkweed when I get to the spot if it’s off I switch locations immediately

windy.com is good, but using milkweed when you get to your spot will often tell the real story when we have these light winds and scent seems to swirl.

Wind finder is the most accurate in my opinion

MyRadar is a free app and it has a wind overlay you can activate, also for free.  And it’s pretty damn accurate.  But i also use random strings from my camo or small pieces of leaves when I’m in the stand.

I use HuntStand with pretty good results, but I also hunt the side of what passes as a mountain in NJ and the wind often swirls because of the varied terrain. I always leave the house with a stand in mind and will change the plan and stand if I find the wind isn’t what is was supposed to be.
