Leaving very early tomorrow morning to do some deer and duck hunting at my parent's farm in Virginia. Saturday is the last day of the general deer season. I'm planning on driving the nasty swamp out so, that my sons can get a deer or two. Good luck to everyone here that's going out.

So far so good. I shot a doe and hit another one. I looked for the second one but ran out of light. I'll be back at it early tomorrow morning. And my oldest son, shot a big bodied 6 point right before dark tonight. This is his second antlered buck ever. I'm so proud of him. I saw a total of 12 deer. The most that I've seen down here in about 8 years. I'm having trouble posting pictures due to the slow internet service. We'll be back at it again tomorrow. Plus, it's the last day of the Virginia deer season. Good luck to everyone that's going out tomorrow.

That's awesome that you guys spend your time together hunting. Congrats on his buck and your does!!! Enjoy!!!

“I have always tempered my killing with respect for the game pursued. I see the animal not only as a target, but as a living creature with more freedom than I will ever have. I take that life if I can, with regret as well as joy, and with the sure knowledge that nature’s way of fang and claw and starvation are a far crueler fate than I bestow.” – Fred Bear
