Good Morning In the Swamp

My favorite day of the year. Made the usual death march in early.  Lots of action all morning. Heard very few shots. Light rain and overcast. Perfect conditions. Anyone else out? I’ve seen very little chatter aside from people bitching back and fourth about the world burning…:)

I thought duck opened today. Heard a few groups of shots from behind the house this morning. Haven’t duck hunted in years but I loved it.

Wish I could have gone this AM. And was planning this PM but Mr Big showed up on the cam. Had to take lil guy n his buddy to lacrosse practice this morning then checked deer spots. Wife gave me the first “this is getting annoying” of the year! Lol.

Guna get out during the week. Finally found a duck stamp in Holicon PA!!  Past month I tried post offices in TR, Island Hts, seaside hts, west Chester Pa, n New hope PA….then finally Holicon Pa. Never in my 40 years has it been so difficult to find a federal duck stamp!!  Lady that had one said they are a pain to return if not sold…so many post masters order the bare minimum.  Here’s my answer to that BS….just shred the remaining stamps that aren’t sold at the end of the year/season….why they need to be sent back…they store em in a vault!!??  SMH.
