Good luck sparky!  Are you after bear or just deer?  I got stuck out in the rain last week.  That was enough for me for one season so taking the day off.

Fair weather Hunter.lol

When you get to be our age I don't blame you, don't want to be doing this 🤧

I can hunt all week.  Was different when I only had Saturdays to hunt mornings.  Rainy days can be good when the deer have been pressured.

I hear you Bob. Same here when when I was a ute, had many deer out feeding in the fields in the rain as long as the wind ain't blowing hard

Sparky lol remind me of a tavern in the sixties and seventies, it was in blairstown right on 521, before nomads time, it was called Sparky's the sign out front said where good friends meet. I wasn't old enough to drink then yet but there must have been some great hunting tales being shared in there.

Light rain good. Heavy rain no good.

Watched a herd come out into a field in heavy rain after no movement all week during 6 day.  When it turned into a torrential downpour they all laid down.  Was funny watching my buddy on the other side of the field standing against a big oak.  All the water funneled down into a crotch above him and was pouring down on him like a waterfall.  He couldn't move with the deer there.  He did shoot one when they stood up but we lost the blood in the rain.  Another reason I stay home in the rain now.
