Guestion, am I required to wear orange as a bow hunter now that muzzy for bear is also open?  Don't know if the laws were changed for this hunt.  Guess it would be a good idea though with  these southern guys that never seen a bear coming up here.

Dog has vet appointment this morning so I won't be out until later.

I don't think you have to but I read maybe to and fron stand. . And probably a good idea

Service sucks up here in Yankee land!

Saw my first black bear!... Had him in the scope but was walking too fast and behind trees... Then later saw momma and 2 cubs.

That all I got.. Hitting send before I lose service again! Will post more later if anything else happens

Depends what side of the hill you're on or in a valley or up on top.  Usually takes forever for a photo to upload and often fails.  Plenty of bear up here and the clubs are probably driving for them, spooking the deer even more.

He's in low by a swamp between two mountain ranges
