Budget hang and hunt set up?

Recommended Posts

Been getting some friends started in archery hunting….and until they learn to climb trees with my extra Summit Vipers….I’m looking to get a small budget hang and hunt set up. I have used Muddy Stix and they seemed good, but expensive….& a bit difficult to take down. Most Stix seem pricey tho. Guide Gear appear to be the most affordable.  Are any stix easier/safer to hang than others??

And what woukd you recommend for a cheap comfy hang on stand?

Yes as far as budget stick’s definitely the heliums they are nice and don’t require much modification to make as nice as the more expensive sticks As far as the hang on goes if you want something to pack in and out all the time budget friendly might be tough. There’s a few out there under $300 like the hawk and the millennium. But, I won’t use anything other than a Chippewa stand. Light weight aluminum and the most superior hanging and leveling system I’ve ever used (the wedge lock hanging system)

Thanks for the info!!

just cruising around on Amazon I found this stuff. The Hawk micro w combo 20 inch stix is a nice lil package …& add on the web aider….but that stand platform is tiny for a newbie.

the $62 XL platform would be good for a noob

just wondering if going with the 20” or 30” inch Hawks is better
