Welp, I didn't get awarded a blind, but my 81-year old dad did LOL. Figures.

Who has hunted Blind #6? That's what he was awarded. And it is the only one I didn't scout a couple years ago. I know where the other 5 are and was able to walk to all of them and scope them out, but #6 is the only one I know nothing about. If it is anything like the other five, I highly doubt he's going to be able to get to it. But I believe one of these blinds (and I think its #6) is advertised as easier to get to for older hunters.

I'll check it out during scouting weekend in early October and see if it is anything he can navigate. But I was hoping someone here has some details on blind #6 - location and how to get to it? I know it is the southern-most blind location.

Like blind, 1 I doubt blind 6 has killed more than a dozen birds in the time it has been a draw system. Maybe a few mergies later in the year. I’d love for NJDFW to publish the annual harvest numbers from each blind but they won’t because half their blinds aren’t worth hunting and the couple of guys that made this their pet project are desperate to keep it alive so they have something for their resume

Blind 1 actually sucked for me - and I hunted it twice that first year. First time (in November I think it was), we had maybe 4 birds fly behind us. Second time, we didn't see a single bird come anywhere near in range (that was late December, I think).

The middle blinds look like the ideal ones... I was hoping to get 3, that looks like a good spot.

Any insight into real numbers harvested from those 2 blinds?

Nope, only numbers I've seen are what are in the monthly bureau reports on the website. But I don't think they break it down by blind. Just what was harvested for the reporting period.
