Daniel
Hey guys! I am looking to get into duck/goose hunting this year and I was wondering if anyone knew of any good areas to check out? I am in sussex county. I'm not looking to steal anyones spots, just would like to know some public lands/areas to check out. Appreciate the advice! Bucksnbows
One way to start is to look at Google Earth maps of WMAs and State Parks for water features. Remember that not all State Park lands are open for hunting. But Sussex has lots of rivers, streams, swamps, lakes, and ponds. Good luck! https://www.troutscapes.com/ https://nativefishcoalition.org/national-board
tuny
Hyper humus great for geese but watch the water depth. Bucksnbows

Mallard1100
No one here is going to hand over coveted spots. You are lucky to live in a county where you can damn near throw a rock in any direction and hit some body of water pond, river creek etc that holds birds. Go start driving around. Your biggest problem will be deciding where to go out of all the options you will be surprised to find. Scout now before opening day and get in early. Good luck.
