Day at the camp and bears

Yesterday got up to my hunting camp in PA with my old man.  Cut/stacked wood for deer season, did some maintenance at cabin.  
 

saw 6 deer at camp upon arrival at 830am so that’s a good sign! Apple crop looks plentiful so the pruning in the orchards definitely helped out.  

Sighted in my 35 and 7mm all good there as expected.  Also sighted in my old man’s ruger m77 44mag rifle that I’m going to use this year just for fun.  All the kids in our family shot a deer with that gun except me so my time is due!
 

woke up this morning and the bear got the neighbors trash and dragged it into my yard. I cleaned it up and they are back an hour later looking for an afternoon snack. I’m sure they’ll move along as there isn’t anything here for them.

 

 I had a feeling they’d be around soon though with colder temps rolling in and post the storm they have to move to pack in the pounds before winter.
