Killed my knees coming down the mountain last night.  Wife went to get grandkids on the bus, I have dog duty.   No sense shooting a doe now with only one more day left before hunting for a buck anyway.  No good bucks to go after in this zone if I do shoot a doe.  It's too cold.  Give me a minute and I'll think up some more excuses.

Good luck out there, maybe be out later to watch the sunset.

Doesn't look like there will be a sunset to see tonight.  Tomorrow's going to be a washout with 2"-6" of rain.  Going to be a while before it's possible to walk across the river to check my camera and hunt there.  Looking forward to Saturday and different scenery.

I scared off a small bear

Went out to scout a spot that was loaded with buck sign last year.  Saw another cellcam and stand there.  No sign of anything else.

Came out this evening. So far just this guy. 10 yards away. Hopefully I catch him next month.
