My wife got me a cell cam for Xmas in 2020.  I never used it.  Just opened box 3 weeks ago. I went to hook it up and couldn’t get it to sync.   I’ll called the company.   They told me that model is not supported anymore.    I can send it back for a 50 percent credit or use it just with the micro sd.

There are Jay, but when you include irrelevant and silly questions in your poll  it gives the appearance you’re just trying to increase the activity  level by creating controversy, rather than actually collecting useful data, which I believe makes guys shy away from participating,  just sayin…

My apologies. Didn't think it would offend anyone. Doubt it made many shy away from the poll.

People not wanting to participate  probably wouldn't have no matter what I gave as answer options.

The questions were not silly imo. 

The last answer option on each question were aimed to poke a little fun- that's all.

Jay don't think the question were silly.  Don't mind people who don't want to have fun.

Stealth cam was the brand.   It’s gray.   Not sure of model off hand 

 

they want me to send it back and they will send me a new one for 100.

I'm confused by what was irrelevant or silly.  I know hunters that fall into all of those categories.  The wordplay was just for fun I'd imagine, which is just how Jay is.

P.S. You'd be surprised what the highest number of trailcams a single hunter has/uses.  21+ is actually LOW barrier but for the sake of brevity vs number who run 21+, it's probably a decent cutoff.

I just saw the thread and took the poll. I liked it and the questions asked. Interesting so far. I’m a combo with under $15/month data plan and most non cell with 9 cams running at the moment. Soon to be 15.

One guy I no that shoots a lot of huge deer every year runs about 60.  At one point years ago he ran a lil over 100.  Gota find nice deer before u can harvest one

 

i was one of the first to respond to this pool.   I said 6 cams.  That was correct.  In nj.   Im heading to ny tomorrow am till Monday night.   I’ll put up 9 more over the weekend

sd cards got expensive esp when someone was taking mine every 3 or 4 days till I hung a cam 9 ft up pointed down    Tip.   I just got 50 micros off eBay for 31 plus 5 shipping   That should last me while now

I agree.. trailcams are as much a hobby as hunting is to me.

Thought it was a great poll! And got a good laugh out of the choices
