Muck Boots?

I have worn my 10 year old pair down to shreds. I have read a lot of the customer reviews on Muck's website. A lot of feedback suggests that their quality has gone down the drain. A lot of people stating that they either leak or fall apart soon after purchase. The old pair that has serviced me well was made in China. Now they are made in Vietnam and Indonesia. Does anyone have any suggestions on where to go with this?

have a pair of size 13, worn twice in the closet that fit to tight so cant use

Yes, I have also had that problem with some Muck Boots. For me the new pairs are hard to get off. My Lacrosse boots are nice but they are like wearing big clumsy ski boots.

I just bought a pair of Muck Wetland boots last week and I’ve worn them everyday since for stuff around the house, as well as hunts while it was wet and soggy out there. So far so good (again, only been a week though), but I will say I did order a size bigger based on all the reviews I read about them running small. They’re comfortable, warm, and as someone else  said they aren’t the easiest to take off but not so bad IMO.

I really hope they last a while. My previous pair of boots (super cheap off-brand junk) didn’t even last a year so I figured I’d go a step up.

All of the major knee high/muck style boots have gone downhill. Lacrosse were always the best in my opinion, they went down hill, I switched to Irish setters, they were great but they discontinued the style I liked. I've since tried dry shods which were good but the inner soles wore out to quickly contacted customer service and they told me to just go get Dr scholls inserts, that turned me off. Now I'm back to lacrosse. Also had bogs somewhere in the mix, they were great just way to wide for my feet and were 2" or so shorter than others. Never was a fan of muck brand bc there was an issue with them and peta with dairy farmers. Supposedly dry shod is also tied in with muck somehow

Take a look at the Skeller Up Quatro 16" Insulated comes in camo and solid, the camo eventually wears off the solid color no problem, I have walked alot miles in them in numerous types of terrain I have four pairs of different models the quarto is their best boot. They made a Sport Version I didn't care for the strap that tightens the boot around your calf bad design especially if you tuck your pants in your boots, the straps just get caught or damaged. The Extreme Version for cold temps is heavy to walk in and does not protect to the low temps it says it does.

I walked so many miles in one pair I worn the inner heals out, never had a pair leak I walk a lot of marshes, the boots hold up really well for me I purchased all four pairs thru Blue Collar Workwear in NY they were very helpful with the fitment and purchase. Hope this gives you another option I wore Lacrosse and Muck they both went downhill on quality neither held up like these, Good Luck with your search!
