Too bad Dodge went to junk once Fiat bought it.  Every mechanic I know is spending loads of time rebuilding motors at 100-110k miles.

Holy smokes I had no idea

Well at least you're not touching your BMW Phil,......Yet

I just saw one of the UN/WEF mandates will be a 20mph speed limit. So most (ours not theirs) engines will probably get smaller...

Sadly, the Biden administration is fully behind this plan.

And next September, the U.S. will agree to adopt the "Pact for the Future".

Of course this is why they are rushing to get this done.

With Biden in the White House, the globalists are able to greatly advance their agenda.

But once he leaves, it will be a lot tougher.

So time is of the essence.

I wish that more Americans understood what the globalists are trying to do, but unfortunately the mainstream media barely talks about any of this at all.

We live in such perilous times, and those that wish to erode our freedoms are absolutely relentless.

337k on my 08

180k on my 12

65k on my 21
brakes and tires is all they have needed

have probably 30 co workers all pushing between 150-200k none of those have had an issue either

I could be wrong Dan, but my understanding is that the trouble starts in the 14-15 model years and up (When Fiat actually took over).  Your '08 and '12 should be safe.  The '21 might be a different story.  Which motor is in the '21?

Glad i saw this but I saw the topic and had to click bc i think Ram is the nicest looking truck IMO.

Ill be in the market soon for a truck. Its really insane what theyre charging - and what people are privately selling for!

What years would you avoid with Ram 1500 and what trucks would you all recommend searching for? I was thinking Tacoma but have to see whats in budget at the time

Gotcha.  I just wasn't sure if you had the 5.7 in the 1500 or if you had the 6.4 in the 2500.

What I'm hearing and reading is that the 5.7 is having tons of problems as well.  I hope yoi don't have any issues with yours, but don't be surprised if you need a rebuild around at 100-110k.

My mechanic and good friend is a diehard MOPAR and BMW guy and I told him I was looking at the Rams.  He told me to steer clear of them and buy a Ford.  No joke.
