I have a land line because my cell signal at home is very poor. Never had any issues with land line

if your cell signal is good why do you need land line?

I have Vonage.  It's solid and  runs off your internet.  $30.00 a month.

I can see Vonage is no longer cheap. I pay $30 with Verizon.

We disconnected our landline about 5 years ago.  Only kept it in case of prolonged power outages.  But family and friends call us on our cell phones. The only calls we received on our landline were from telemarketers so we finally disconnected.
