Gave up on it. I still own camo from years past. But all purchases in recent years are just solid colors; green, grey and brown.

I am the Lorax - I speak for the trees.

I had never heard of this until I read this thread somewhere else.

I had always bought what was on sale

Camo is designed to fool one animal only, the hunter and his wallet. And it is HIGHLY effective at doing so as this and so many similar posts demonstrate. Anything that breaks up your outline works fine. Doesn’t have to be camo.

I agree, but the clothing is also made with the activity in mind.

What clothing besides camo would fit the quiet flexibility or thin warmth that may be needed when hunting?

Is that clothing priced above the price of the camo?

Over the years, I have used clothing designed for skiing, hiking and mountain biking in addition to so-called hunting clothing. All designed for minimum weight and maximum insulation that allow freedom of movement and are quiet.

These are the best camo mesh gloves. They are great for those warm Turkey days. Bought them on sale at Dicks for 99 cents 30+ years ago . My son in law calls them the Deplorable Rube Turkey Killers. Hard to find mesh gloves for warm days.
