Early Breeding?

Big doe that I always see with her two fawns was absent for 3 or 4 days.   Could some early breeding be taking place that kept her away?

The doe was gone not the fawns.
 

Yeah, it was just strange. The fawns were all alone when I saw them for three or four days, actually bleating like they were looking for their mom, I thought for sure somebody had shot her.  I’ve always seen them together, all summer.
