62   Windy   App says winds at 8.  More like 18 with gusts 

 

eyes in the pile at 543.   I stood still for 4 min   Then walked a lil bit.  Just bumped them off.  Winds good for the way it went.  Hope it returns.  Shoot straight

I been waiting on some wind - any wind. Been still as still can be. Impossible to hunt evenings with scent falling to the ground with no wind.  Last hunt was the worst I ever saw deer react in my life. Maybe the thermacell contributed. Waiting on cooler temps and some wind where I can plot my strategy.  Good luck

Got a little air movement cooling things off. Also got busted when I pulled my phone out to look at a text. Think it was the same doe as the other day. It was still too dark to see her behind me in the bushes.

Just got settled. Hunting way deep in a swamp with a row of oaks one doe already while I was setting up
