Alright, who's hitting up the woods today?  Overcast and cooler morning today, hopefully some of you got out!  Anyone have any luck?

Was raining but then it stopped to hardly anything worth staying home about,  Had to play plumber this morning anyway.  Will be out later for evening sit.

I’ll be in at about 430. Sitting in some white oaks a lot of rubs around.

25' up in the oaks. Messed up getting on stand..

Didn't have a small spray bottle to pack in Dead Down Wind so brought the entire bottle. Entire contents emptied 20 yards away didn't tighten the top. Rookie move. Ugh. 

Small doe came in and didn't like it. Didn't blow out just walked to another patch of oaks. 

Decent W wind, N would be ideal. Thermacell cranking. 

Looking for a ghost. Never know.....

They are called acorn(s) for a reason TurkeyWing! 

They cruise right past corn to get to a GINORMOUS white oak tree. 

Gotta adust and adapt to it....chess game is on. (I DESPISE CHESS)

Past 3 nights I tried with my kids for short hunts. My 2 yr old Declan only lasts 30 mins. Addy is 5 now and she lasted 1.5 hrs tonight with no candy but she was not quiet or still at all lol

 

Tomorrow or Friday I bring candy and we get our buck tag.

Wow, I can’t believe how big they are getting! Good times.
