Has anyone been swinging flies there lately? Been thinking of going since my hunting is winding and I haven't been out since June...

i havent. i think smoking gun was up there few weeks ago. looked like he caught some nice ones. if you go, fish low and slow.

Yes, Smoking Gun did well there a week or 2 ago.

Yea I was up there.the fishing was ok the water was a little low I managed 8 nice ones most action was down by handicap access there's deeper pools there

Any part of that river from the seasonal TCA downstream is loaded with rainbows 24/7/365.  As long as the hatchery is there, that will always be the case.  Fish are moving to winter habitat which means deep, slow pools for the most part.
