I used to buy multiple permits for every season. Now I buy 1 bow and 1 shotgun or muzzleloader

I have always been somewhat "sporadic" in my permit purchases. In the past I would occasionally get a shotgun permit and 2 maybe 3 bow permits. These days I only get one bow permit and a buck tag.

 

If they sold the permits by regulation sets though, I would go back to purchasing at least 2 bow permits and a buck tag. Would probably start buying one shotgun permit again too.

Not that I'd be out there banging up the deer herd even more, but there are still some places I would put in some more time and maybe take another doe. As it is now though, too much money to be too limited.

I hunt two zones in two diff reg sets.  If it was reg set permits, it might expand the areas I hunt instead of being limited to those two.

I am boycotting deer permits until they do away with the buck tag

I hunt bow in one reg set and muzzleloader in another, so nothing would change for me.
