Delaware Water Gap Rec Area question

It looks like I may be hunting the DWRA for the first time and I have a few questions before zone permits become available.

1. Are there any rules pertaining to hunting open fields?

2. The tree stand rule is nothing permanent and must be taken down every day. I'm not seeing anything regarding blinds in the digest, so does this include blinds?

3. On page 23 of the digest "Hunting on the Delaware River is restricted by state
boundaries A valid hunting license and any appropriate permit/stamp is required for your location

If additional permits/stamps are required, how do I go about getting them?

#3 means you need PA licenses to hunt that side of the river. Buy them through the PA licensing system. Need to know the PA regs to know what you have to buy.

BTW: if you want to continue to have the right to hunt the Gap in the future, pay attention and participate in this grassroots organization - before you lose that right:

Big bucks and big bears in the Gap if you put in the time, go deep and don't shoot the first legal buck you see. I have not taken a buck there for several years simply because I know there are some really big mature bucks around.  But I have the time to be selective.    Been hunting there for 37 years and have taken some beautiful deer and big bear.   Enjoy the lack of crowds and peacefulness that comes along with hunting off the path.

Good luck !

I’ve done some research myself but have yet to hunt it.   There are several areas off limits to hunting. Their website has the list on there somewhere.  And there is some road closures seasonally.  I know it’s nj but be prepared if you get stuck out there and have to spend a night in your truck in winter. Cell service can be spotty in places. Some areas are also stocked with pheasants so keep that in mind when scouting spots come November.

# 3 pertains to duck and goose hunting, not deer.
