BEAR loon sent me interesting PM

I commented on something regarding their claim that 92% oppose the bear hunt. All I said was "92% of those that don't live in bear country!" I got this bizarre PM on FB today from some retired guy Don Hughes living in Dallas, Tx.

 

 

"Putzes like you who choose to disrespect life is why there is so much abuse in the world. We live what we learn, if what you learned has not enlightened you to live a humane life, then you have missed the main point to living this life. Utter waste of time and space on your part. Save the bears from human predators."

 

 

This really hurt my feelings. I have never been called a putz before.

The comments are frankly - hilarious... These people actually are allowed to vote, which is scary in of itself.

1) How many bears are there exactly in Saddle Brook? (yes, that's a rhetorical question)

2) Non lethal methods such as public education and stricter trash maintenance.

A) Non lethal methods will not keep the population down, nor will it remove known categorized nuisance bears from the population.

B ) Non lethal methods such as Aversive Conditioning are not a silver bullet (pun totally intended) and if any of you actually read the AC report you would see that and also see how it is not an effective method.

4) Garbage is a municipal matter and instead of whining about it actually do what the law says and if you see it being violated report it instead of holding a cardboard sign about it.

And if any of you have a cost effective, viable alternative to a hunt that will reduce the population, reduce bear/human incidents and remove known, categorized, nuisance bears from the population as has been evidenced in previous hunts now would probably be the time to speak up...

Can't argue emotionally unstable people and their emotional arguments with facts. It doesn't work.

 

They lie and misrepresent their emotional argument because facts and science won't support it. The entire animal and Eco-rights activists are all narcissists, sociopaths, and compulsive liars. If we had improved mental health laws back in the 1960s, we wouldn't have stupid gun laws and stupid activists.
