A&W Nature Labs scores on a management bear!

The second to last day of the firearm week was good to A&W Nature Labs!

 

We were able to keep the bears showing themselves during daylight hours this past week and co-owner Greg A. was lucky enough to drop the hammer on his brand new muzzleloader scoring on his first black bear ever!

 

I was at a Holiday party when I got the call, so I ran out, got to the woods and was fortunate enough to be able to join him for the track and recovery!  It was so good to be able to help him recover this animal as I have not had a lot of time to spend in the woods with my hunting buddy this season due to business demands. 

 

Thank goodness for the Polaris Ranger or we would have had to deal with a bear of a drag out of the woods (no pun intended).
