A former beauty queen who hosts an Outdoor Channel adventure show illegally shot an Alaska grizzly bear and conspired to cover up the violation, according to charges filed in a rural state court.

She accidentally shot the wrong bear, while attempting to put down a bear she already shot. I have no problem with her making a mistake. I'm sure when you're hunting Grizzly bears and have multiple bears in range your fairly excited. Again as always the cover up is worse than the crime. The guide is responsible for reporting what actually happened. This young hunter made a second mistake by listening to bad advice. I can't condone the falsification of hunting documents. By paying for another tag, and not wasting a game animal I feel that mercy should be given.
