Wow that is crazy.  I hope that goes viral.  That guy should lose his job and that department should be investigated.

Can you imagine if that guy was white and made that "urban" comment, the amount of backlash police would have for being racist?

Some observations:

 

The guy in this video is no different than the legislators in NJ. Lest we forget the safety committee last year that violated the NJ Constitution by freezing a vote when they realized they were about to lose. Nothing ever happened nor will it.

 

Although what we saw was a gross violation of the law, NJ is infamous for not enforcing laws or selectively enforcing them. So this is status quo. The whole system is broken, and I think these violations will get a pass because they're about guns. It'll effectively be, "we can break the law because we think we are saving lives", and that will make it okay.

 

The Supreme Court of the US has been refusing to hear more and more gun cases, and if this one ever got that far I assume it would be dropped. This has already happened to one NJ case around concealed carry, so I don't expect it to get any traction.

 

The only way I see thing ps changing is by changing the NJ legislators. Vote them out. But it seems that the people of NJ are content with corruption and a complete disregard for the rule of law unless it fits their agenda. Trenton is broken and needs to be replaced.

 

IMHO. Full disclosure, I am a life NJ2A member.

Wow, I'm thinking an ADA lawyer would have a field day with this. Aside from the blatant anti-2nd A sentiment and false statements that would be plenty of fuel for any lawyer...
