Yikes, $277.25 in NJ license and permit fees this year

Recommended Posts

Ouch!

I knew it was the most I had ever spent in this state, but I just did the math and my All Around Sportsman with a trout stamp and all my turkey, bear and deer zone permits and buck tags as well as rifle permit ran it up quite a bit.  Now add a NY non-resident hunting, archery and fishing license and it begins to add up quickly.

Thank goodness my wife doesn't come on this site

The problem is ..the council needs to have a meeting on a Saturday so people can attend and speak to them directly. During the week is dumb ..some people need to work to pay them over top fees for hunting here. Thank god I got 2 leases this past summer because last year I hunted 2 public pieces..over 20 sits I saw a total deer count of 5

Yeah, for all that money you'd think we'd get a little bit better hunting experience.

You can spend that in one week in another state, you get six months here, That's roughly 46 bucks a month, it's not that bad, and I aint no Rockefeller.

And its set up this way so you and the majority of the general public do not have the opportunity to put them on the spot and ask questions that might make them sweat.  Not unlike how Hillary Clinton and the Dems set up their debates.

I wouldn't mind shelling out the $$$$$$$$$ for deer hunting if DFW actually did something to earn it............

i do not spend nearly as much as some of you guys. i am glad all i do is bow hunt, fish, waterfowl, and small game. i was buying trapping license and permits as well as rifle permit but havent recently so helps keep my cost down. never got into muzzleloader hunting and some years i do not hunt permit bow depending on how my fall bow turned out. this year i hunted permit bow and will be eating another tag. oh well, thats hunting. i still had fun. now i am waterfowl hunting until it ends and then wait for turkey and fishing. i love hunting and fishing. always something to do no matter what time of year it is, but yeah sometimes the cost sucks.
