Topic/Reply Editor Testing

I recently got some questions regarding the editor on here, so I figured I'd throw up a topic where members can tinker around and try out different things just to see what it does.

Feel free to post away on this topic and try all the features you see in the editor.

 

 

A few helpful ones...

 

1) That "Lightswitch" on the top left of the editor allows you to go into raw "code" mode, where you'll see the actual syntax used to make posts.  I use that often because it allows me to see things like [.url] and [.img] and [.attachment] tags that are what embed HTML links and images.  I can easily remove them from there.

 

2) The "My Media" button will actually show you all attachments (and other content) you've posted, so you can reuse it in future topics/replies.  This way you don't have to re-upload images if down the line you want to share something that is related to a current topic and you posted something related to it a long time ago.

 

3) The "Eraser" will remove formatting from your post.  That's helpful when you copy and paste from other sites and the fonts and colors get all messed up.  This will remove all of that and just leave the text behind!

Yeah I read how the editor isn't compliant with iOS unfortunately. That's pretty silly.
