6 Day weather

It's not looking good weather wise for 6 day. Warm and wet. Lets hope it's wrong.

The temps look OK, 30s at night, 50s during the day...much better than near 70 the last few days.

The wet weather will kinda suck though.

Wow, if that forecast is true it's completely different than last year. Last year's 6 day was nippy.

Not the greatest forecast, but at least it doesn't look like a total washout.Would prefer the temps to be in the 40s, but not going to complain about 50s.

I'm hoping the warm weather will result in more bears being shot and less deer.  6-day is the one week that I root for the deer.

I don't know if can believe the weather man can predict 9 days away what the forcast is going to be and can't predict tomorrow.For once i hope they are wrong.

That's so true.  I taught meteorology for a few years and one of the things we did in class was print out forecasts and then see how often they were right or wrong.  They were wrong more than they were right.

I saw that last night. I'll be out all day on Monday and Wednesday is my birthday so, I'll be out after a birthday buck. I hope that it stays cold with no rain.

Weather reports more than 3 days out are highly speculative and seldom correct.  But I do think this fall's general warming trend over last year along with a great acorn year up north will keep those bears out and active.  I predict a very strong bear harvest this 6 Day.  Deer numbers are down and significantly so in many places, so I expect weaker than normal buck reports this year.

It doesn't matter to me what the temps are, but since I will be sitting on the ground this year, I am hoping they are wrong about the rain.
