made the mistake of taking my son there too many times - mainly to the Keys... Now he goes to school in Fort Lauderdale..

 

At least he wants me to come down there for his spring break - will probably book a charter or two... (or 3). Should be good sails then...

I can only handle the Florida heat for a couple of weeks, so I'll never move down there.  But the wife and I absolutely love the Keys!  Fishing is Pandora's Box if you stay up in the northern Keys because you have it all - backcountry, flats and offshore.  We spend (or used to) lots of time in Marathon and Islamorada as well as Summerland Key where a buddy has a place on the bay side, water front.  Love fly fishing for mahi!
