Due to the resource exceeded issue occurring far too often, I've already purchased another hosting plan tonight.

I will be doing a test migration (this site will remain online during this period) tomorrow evening sometime (after my FT job).

Once successful, I will be taking this site offline and doing a migration.

Hoping the downtime will be far more minimal than last time.

One important note is there are some networking changes that take place and usually take about 24 hours to get propagated through the servers across the internet. During that time, you may see the site as still OFFLINE while others are able to get to the new host...you may even see it on your mobile device (via cell towers) but not your computer (via your ISP)...or vice versa. But rest assured, it will work itself out and you'll be back online! :)

Here's an explanation:

What is Propagation and How Long Does it Take?

Name server changes usually take 24 to 48 hours to fully start working. This period, called propagation, is the projected length of time it takes for root name servers and cache records across the entire web to be updated with your website's DNS information. Because of propagation, not all visitors will be directed to your new name servers on your new hosting account; some visitors will continue to be directed to your old name servers on your old hosting account until propagation is complete.

If anyone has any questions, please let me know...and sorry for the inconvenience of this all, I know it sucks...for all of us!

And so begins our time together during the Great Migration.

Set your DNS TTL to 5 minutes right now.  This will significantly minimize the DNS propagation issue.  However, some ISPs arbitrarily set their own TTL to reduce the amount of DNS queries (AOL is one such offender), and there's nothing you can do about that.
